Tortilla Pinwheels
Tortilla pinwheels are tasty appetizers that are easy to make and great for parties or get-togethers. There is a creamy, tangy filling inside flour tortillas that are rolled up and then cut into bite-sized pinwheels.
Ingredients:
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup salsa
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup chopped black olives
- 1/2 cup chopped green onions
Instructions:
Softened cream cheese and salsa should be mixed together in a bowl until the mixture is smooth
Cover every flour tortilla with the cream cheese mixture
On top of the cream cheese layer on each tortilla, spread out the shredded cheddar cheese, chopped black olives, and chopped green onions
Like a jelly roll, roll up each tortilla tight
Put each rolled tortilla in the fridge for at least two hours, or until it is firm
The tortilla rolls should be cut into 1-inch-thick pinwheels after they are chilled
